Word

Write and format a document here, then save a Word file or a PDF. The document stays on this device.

Turn on JavaScript to use this tool. After the page loads, the file is processed in your browser and is not uploaded.

How to use it

  1. Start typing, open a .docx file, or use the sample.
  2. Use the toolbar for headings, emphasis, lists, color, tables, pictures, spelling, and page setup.
  3. Save Word, export PDF, or print.

This editor is for letters, school work, notes, and forms. You can set bold, italic, underline, strike, superscript, subscript, font, size, color, highlight, alignment, lists, headings, spacing, tables, pictures, and links. Spelling underlines English words that are not in the on-device dictionary. Click a wavy word for suggestions, or ignore it and add it to the dictionary. In Hindi mode, suggestions appear while you type. Click a word, press Tab, or press its number. Undo, redo, find, replace, and the word count sit on the toolbar. Hindi and English can share a paragraph. Choose A4 or Letter and each sheet stays that paper size. When a page is full, a page break shows the next page. Page break also starts a new page at the cursor. The header, footer, page size, and margins travel with the file.

Open reads a modern .docx file onto the page. Save Word writes a .docx with that formatting. Export PDF uses the same drawing path as Word to PDF, so Hindi stays readable. A downloaded Word file opens in Word, LibreOffice, or the Word viewer on this site.
