How to use it
- Open the PDF and move between pages.
- Drag rectangles over the text or images that must go.
- Apply the redaction and read the flattened pages.
Drawing a black box on top of text is not enough if the words remain underneath. SKY13.app redraws each marked page as an image after the boxes are painted, so the covered region is gone rather than stacked under a shape. Pages you do not mark are copied through unchanged.
Review every box before you apply it. Flattening is not undone by deleting the rectangle later, because the download is a new file. The original on your device is left as it was.
Questions
Are unmarked pages still text?
Yes. Only pages with a box are redrawn as images. Other pages keep their existing text layer.
Does this remove data in attachments?
It changes page content you covered. It is not a full metadata scrubber. Remove attachments in the app that created them if that matters.
