How to use it
- Choose a PDF that you can already open.
- Rebuild it on this device.
- Try the new file in the program that was complaining.
Some PDFs open in one viewer and fail in another because their internal structure is messy. Rebuilding copies the pages into a new file with a clean structure. That fixes a class of problems and leaves truly broken files untouched.
If SKY13.app cannot open the file, it will say so. Password-protected files are not unlocked here. A file that does not open at all needs the program that created it, or a backup. This page will not pretend a download is repaired when the pages could not be read.
Questions
Will fonts and text survive?
Pages are copied, not photographed, so text that was readable should remain readable.
Can repair remove a password?
No. Unlocking is not offered, because a fake success would leave the file unprotected or still locked without telling you the truth.
